Venetian Plaster

The same lustrous finish we created for that period drama on Netflix.

Remember that scene in your favorite luxury hotel lobby that took your breath away? That's authentic Venetian plaster—imported materials, traditional troweling, and a finish that literally glows.

Lime Wash

Old-world charm meets modern sophistication.

We fell in love with lime wash on a film set recreating a Tuscan villa. The depth, the organic movement, the way it breathes with your home—it's pure magic. Perfect for creating that "I've always been here" feeling in new construction.

Custom Finishes

Your imagination is our blueprint.

From aged bronze patinas to weathered stone, we've created it all for the cameras. Remember, we once turned a Brooklyn warehouse into a French château—imagine what we can do with your dining room.

The Goldstein & Horowitz story

Picture this: Two artisans on a Hollywood set, 3 AM, perfecting a Venetian plaster wall for a scene that would be on screen for maybe ten seconds. That's where Justin and Charlie discovered their shared obsession with perfection.

Thirteen years in film and television taught us that every surface tells a story. We've created authentic finishes for period dramas, transformed sound stages into Italian villas, and learned from European masters brought in for the most demanding directors. We've worked with production designers who notice if a texture is off by a millimeter—and celebrity clients who expect nothing less than perfection.

But here's what really drives us: Your home deserves the same artistry we brought to the big screen.

We understand you're not just looking for someone to paint your walls. You're looking for artisans who share your passion for beauty, who understand that your home is your personal sanctuary, and who can translate your vision into something extraordinary. That's exactly what we do.

RAVE REVIEWS FROM OUR WONDERFUL CLIENTS

"Justin told us about creating this exact finish for a period piece on HBO, and suddenly we knew we weren't just hiring painters—we were commissioning artists. Our dining room now has the same Venetian plaster finish as a Hollywood set, and honestly, it feels like we're living in a movie. Worth every single penny."

Sarah & Michael Chen, Greenwich
"As an interior designer, I've worked with dozens of decorative painters. Goldstein & Horowitz is different. They bring this infectious enthusiasm and storytelling to every project. My clients don't just get beautiful walls—they get an experience and a story to share at dinner parties."

Katherine Mills, Interior Designer
"We mentioned loving the walls at our favorite restaurant in Rome, and Charlie said, 'I can do that—actually worked on something similar for a Scorsese film.' Six weeks later, our kitchen has that exact Old World charm. These guys are the real deal."
